Fold Over Strike Error
This error happens when the planchet in not laying down but rather standing up when it is within the collar to be struck in. This one of the most dramatic errors since the force is so great it presses the planchet down with so much force that the planchet folds over on itself to become flat between the dies. The result is you get a planchet that may be oncenter or offcenter and the planchet will be folded over on itself. Errors like this command a high premium and are very rare and hard to obtain and are a delight to error collectors everywhere.
