Indent Strike Error
Indent errors on cents occur when two planchets are fed into the collar with one of the planchets overlapping the other planchet. When the hammer strikes down, the planchet that is on top is pressed down into the bottom planchet thus causing an indent in the lower planchet which the indent being shaped similar to the upper planchet. Errors like these are rare and command a moderate premium.
